One of the funding sources for our beer story was a Crowdfunding campaign on the Indiegogo platform. One of the rewards in the campaign was the chance to name one of our beers in exchange for a $1000 investment. We didn't expect anyone to go for that reward, but a gentleman from Split believed in us and put that amount into the project. When it came time for him to name the beer, the quote above was his answer to our question, "What do you want the beer to be called?" :) BrAle falls into the American brown ale style — a hoppy dark beer with a light roasted character running through it. Chinook hops dominate in this beer, blending nicely with the dark malts and giving notes of blueberry. At 4.8% alcohol, BrAle is a solid candidate for any season.
